There's no debating that Golden Tate's punt returns in 2013 were a huge part of our come back wins and I would like to see us get someone that has that ability besides playing their main position.

John Brown, a small, speedy WR from Pittsburg State in Kansas has a 15.4 average on punt returns and could be had in the 6th possibly.

I'm a huge fan of Jarvis Landry too and he can return punts.

Anyone else?

Can't find much on him, but 8 inch hands?

This guy was atop the Sparq scores over at field gulls. Nathan Slaughter, WR, West Texas A&M

This topic was kind of discussed before http://seahawks.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=91314 though it was more about players already in the league, but here our the prospects I like;

Kent State (RB/WR) Dri Archer 5-8 173 lbs: Draft range 4th - 6th rounds. Ran a 4.26 40-yard dash.

Apparently, John Brown was impressive at the Combine.

I'm liking Dri Archer more and more. I might like him as much as I liked Tavon Austin last year. He's a lot tougher than his size might otherwise indicate and extremely versatile. I would love to see him join the reigning Super Bowl Champs.

Dri Archer is extremely dynamic. I think he could be available at 172, but that's probably our last chance to take him unless we add an intermediate pick in the Sixth Round.

I was a secret fan of John Brown... but, I didn't quick stick my neck out and say he would be all that he has become in just a few games. Not sure anyone thought he would be making such an impact (but, Arizona sure was happy to get him in the draft and immediately praised him. Man, they totally got it right with him.) I wonder if any other teams had him rated as high as Arizona? I wonder why he wasn't rated higher by all the "experts"... unless he was just a player teams were keeping quiet about. Looks like he is already proving himself to be one of the steals of the draft.

Good job, Ivotuk and cover-2, posting about him prior to the draft.

I had posted about John Brown in another thread: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=91709&p=1312844&hilit=John+Brown#p1312844
