The second-to-last conference we'll look at. Overall, the ACC's non-conference schedule is improved by their agreement with Notre Dame. Their eight-game conference schedule means more lower-level opponents, too.

Boston College: @ Massachusetts, USC, Maine, Colorado State
Clemson: @ Georgia, South Carolina State, Georgia State, South Carolina
Duke: Elon, @ Troy, Kansas, Tulane
Florida State: Oklahoma State*, Citadel, Notre Dame, Florida
Georgia Tech: Wofford, @ Tulane, Georgia Southern, @ Georgia
Louisville: Murray State, @ Florida International, @ Notre Dame, Kentucky
Miami (FL): Florida A&M, Arkansas State, @ Nebraska, Cincinnati
North Carolina: Liberty, San Diego State, @ East Carolina, @ Notre Dame
North Carolina State: Georgia Southern, Old Dominion, @ South Florida, Presbyterian
Pittsburgh: Delaware, @ Florida International, Iowa, Akron
Syracuse: Villanova, @ Central Michigan, Maryland, Notre Dame
Virginia: UCLA, Richmond, @ BYU, Kent State
Virginia Tech: William & Mary, @ Ohio State, East Carolina, Western Michigan
Wake Forest: @ Louisiana-Monroe, Gardner-Webb, @ Utah State, Army

Clemson gets my vote for hardest schedule here. Two SEC opponents, one on the road. Florida State comes in a close second. Duke is my choice for weakest.

As a conference, the ACC has the second-highest percentage of games played away from home at 32% (18/56), only the Pac 12 is higher.

You're crazy if you think that Clemson has a tougher schedule than Florida St.

Clemson gets my vote as well because they're actually willing to play a challenging game on the road at Georgia.

I don't think FSU plays a game as challenging as @UGA and South Carolina. Those are two well-coached SEC teams.

Florida is not well coached; I think Muschamp is done after this year. Notre Dame and Oklahoma State should be pretty good, but not as strong as UGA and South Carolina. Having the balls to play a true OOC road game gives my vote to Clemson.
