1st round picks are extremely valuable because you get the player for 4 years, and if he's really good, you pick up that 5th year option. And if they player tries to hold out, they get stiff penalties:

"If a team decides to use its fifth-year team option, the player can face substantial fines for refusing to report to camp on time and/or at all. Players can be fined up to $30,000 per day of training camp missed and a fine equal to one week’s regular season (1/17 of P5 Salary) check for any preseason games missed."

Somebody is going to want to trade back in to the first and pick up one of the QBs still on the board. One of the teams with a less experienced front office just won't be able to stand the thought of sitting all night doing nothing when they can make a big splash and excite their fans with the last pick of the day.

I expect it to be a team that picks early and has all evening to watch people coming off the board, start getting worried and do something desperate. :D

Here's to having our first pick in the 2nd round (That is, unless someone gets desperate to pick a player ahead of Houston)
