It's a new day and now we hold #8 and #32...

Who are your top five players still available for our Hawks?

My short list.

1. Stephon Tuitt
2. Cyrus Kouandjio
3. Timmy Jernigan
4. Cody Latimer
5. Terrence Brooks (Talk about a pick that would be nearly universally hated!!) - Nickel and Dime packages featuring two sideline to sideline safeties that can step up and cover the slot with Killa Kam in the box sounds very very intriguing...

Terrance Brooks might be available in the fourth round.

Marqise Lee WR
Cyrus Kouandjio T
Demarcus Lawrence DE
Allen Robinson WR
Kony Ealy DE
Stephon Tuitt DL
Joel Bitonio T

But the Hawks have two picks in the next 32. Players who have a good chance of being selected tomorrow night:

Louis Nix DT
Antonio Richardson T
Xavier Su'a-Filo G
Kyle Van Noy LB
Ra'Shede Hageman DT
Jace Amaro TE
Jordan Matthews WR
Bishop Sankey RB

He's slipped a bit due to his turrets syndrome at the combine, I heard his interveiw didn't go so good. He called John Harrbaugh a f***ing gold digger. But hey! I'm still pulling for him. good kicker though! More then likely he'll go to the Raiders.

There's Marquise Lee, and then (in no particular order):

-Cyrus Kouandjio, OT
-Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG
-Joel Bitonio, OT
-Morgan Moses, OT

Yeah, I'm fearful for Wilson's life.

Allen Robinson

I could go on and on. Probably 20 players I'd be decently happy with at #40, I'm sure most of them will be there at #64 and a few will be there at #108.

I know it won't be easy, but trading down, even for very late picks, should be Seattle's top priority right now. This second wave of players is so good, and this market is so buyer friendly, Seattle might want to consider trading a future pick to get a pick this year if the deal is right. Seattle is going to have a ton of picks next year.

Cody Lattimer has more upside than Odell Beckham Jr. He is a hell of a lot less polished and his floor is way lower but he would be really good in Seattle with RW throwing to him. He has the height and speed to be a game changer.

Jordan Matthews is going to be terrible at the next level.

What a great move by Seattle!!!

I'm so happy they traded back and still have several O-linemen on the board worth taking in Round 2.

I hope they take one, as listed by rsm650, and take Jordon Matthews with #62. That would be my dream draft. Go Hawks!!

Lots of good players left. Hard to pick which ones although we have to wait for 7 to go in front of us. Lee or Latimer would be awesome, and Martin would fill an spot on the line. And why in the hell do we have to wait until 4:00 pm?

A Safety wouldn't be a bad idea. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Hawks draft a couple of DB's.

Another player that may not be well-received, especially if Bitonio or another .net universal favorite player is there at #40 overall. His name? Trade back again. Did anyone else catch the JS post 1st round interview? He hinted at the possibility. Yes, I know that is partly GM speak. But, the top of the second in this draft has players teams are enamored with.

So, they may be able to get better than equal value for the pick. If they've got enough guys rated about the same... perhaps we see that again. Maybe not far. Perhaps down the 2nd a bit along with another mid-round pick.

The draft isn't about acquiring picks... it's about acquiring players. But, they assign value and there's nothing wrong with getting more players for competition while following your board. We'll see.

I think they may have wanted Cooks or Bucannon in the first round, which led to them trading back out of the first. Cooks was unlikely to get to 32 anyway. But, Bucannon was a shrewd choice for the Cardinals.
