I know from year to year, talent and team needs vary. But in the last 10 drafts, 2014 had 2 more than any other year. NINE is a ridiculous number of DB's when QB's, OT's and DL are so coveted in the 1st round usually, in this league.
It is worth noting that our 2 chief NFCW rivals took safeties, and the team we blew out in the Superbowl wanted one of those 2 guys, and settled on a corner. Once Pryor came off the board there was a run of defensive backs.
The other 31 teams are on notice.
In a passing league where WR's are getting faster and/or much bigger, you better have a secondary that can match up.
