It is incredibly stupid that FSU couldn't see that outcome coming a mile away. Whoever thought of the idea probably had no clue what twitter users are like.

The event was a flashing green light for aspiring twitter celebs to gain follows and fame, no way they were going to miss the chance. I admit, some of the attention grabs were actually funny.

But none were funnier than the idea that FSU thought this would go well. Self-pwnage is great comedy.

Maybe they wanted more on the line presence?

Reminds me of my old company back around 2000. The execs wanted 'E Business". Need more of it. Can we do 'E Business'? Our sales are flat -- don't have sufficient 'E Business'...
