LenDale White Booted From USC Game By Haden

LenDale White was supposed to film a TV show for Vice Sports today at the Coliseum. But White said Vice told him USC canceled use of the Coliseum and the show will be filmed elsewhere.

Steve Sarkisian said on the Pat Haden-LenDale White incident: “They had a discussion on the field and went their separate ways.”

The whole LenDale White controversy started near the end of yesterday’s game when witnesses said White got into an argument with Pat Haden. Why?

Several sources told me Haden confronted White over his critical comments via twitter during the Arizona game about defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox. White became aggravated by Haden’s remarks and told the athletic director he was not on his “pay roll,” and “All i said was what people were thinking.”

Haden reportedly told White he needed to support the program better and White questioned Haden’s college football achievements.

Loved what LenDale did on the field for the Trojans, but he needs to shut up. Haden isn't perfect--I don't agree with everything he's done as AD--but he played in three Rose Bowls, won 2 national championships, was co-MVP of the Rose Bowl in his last game, and did all that while becoming a Rhodes Scholar. His achievements stand up quite well.

Loved what LenDale did on the field for the Trojans, but he needs to shut up. Haden isn't perfect--I don't agree with everything he's done as AD--but he played in three Rose Bowls, won 2 national championships, was co-MVP of the Rose Bowl in his last game, and did all that while becoming a Rhodes Scholar. His achievements stand up quite well.

White said he was forced to apologize on twitter [for his criticisms of the play calling] in order to get a field pass for the Colorado game following his comments during the Arizona game.

From the perspective of an outsider, all those achievements have made Haden appear to be extremely arrogant.

Going down to the field, at the request of Sarkisian, to argue a call with the referees is something I have never seen at a football game from any administrator ever. WTF was that?

Hiring Sarkisian, after firing Kiffin at the airport, was also an absurd decision. Sarkisian was literally on the verge of getting fired here at Washington if he had lost to the Cougs. In my opinion, this would have been Sarkisian's last year here had he stayed because he left the cupboard so bare of talent on offense.

Sarkisian is virtually a Kiffin clone, and Haden had to be deaf to all those criticisms of Kiffin as a play caller-head coach to have made such an arrogant hire.

Now you have Haden getting in a fight with a former player at homecoming because he voiced some criticisms. Isn't that the height of arrogance?
