With the Hall of Fame Game tonight I look at it as the start of a new season, saying that it is also time to get our house in order, the influx of new members and the returning participation of tenured members means we will get busier here at .Net.

We would appreciate that all members get into regular season form for posting and treating each other with the respect a member here deserves.

New Members : Read the Faqs here is a link.

We are a small group of Moderators and where we welcome all new members it is up to you to know the rules and posting guidelines. We can't coddle and walk you thru every situation, to be a contributor and not get your hand slapped or banned it's in your best interest to understand these Rules and Guidelines.

Tenured Members : We expect you to maintain the standards that have been in place, pick up after yourselves, don't leave the toilet seat up and cause KC Girl to fall in etc, don't create situations that will cause discord and you can always flag a situation. We know you know the rules or should by now, the Staff has posted links several times and sticked several topics with references to them. Also many of you have grown to know each other over your time here and will use Tongue and Cheek Humor with each other, being in type it doesn't always come off that way so use the emotion cons. New Posters will see your inside Jokes etc and feel it's a gateway to posting outside the guidelines.

Opposition Fans : We enjoy the banter and insight that you can bring, but we will not tolerate flaming or trolling, we have a Smack Shack to use for that. Use it, we have a much shorter tolerance level as you can understand for the opposition and what we will allow. Stick to the game, the team and the topic, flaming or attacking a Seahawks fan in the Main Forums will be met with a Ban Hammer.

Game Day Forum will be starting up as well once again and the Live Chat. We understand emotions can run high, we also know that if things get out of control things go bad quickly. Moderators in both areas don't have time for explanations and more often than not will delete a post or topic or if severe give the participants creating the situation a short vacation. Remember it's not personal but we need to maintain a environment that everyone can feel comfortable in, the day after many understand things better and have cooled down.

On a Final note Everyone enjoy the New Season, following the guidelines and Rules will make it a more enjoyable season for everyone.

Don't force us to make SacHawk2.0 a Moderator :)
