I think it noteworthy that, with this first depth chart, they are listing their two experienced linemen additions at the starting guard positions ..... presumably to help their young starting tackles.

The Seahawks added an experienced veteran to their secondary Wednesday, signing former San Francisco 49ers starting cornerback Tramaine Brock. Seattle also added depth at linebacker, signing Rodney Butler. Receiver Jamel Johnson was waived and safety Jordan Simone was waived/injured.

Simone was waived injured and likely will revert to IR. Tramaine Brock seems like an odd signing in terms of his length, or a signing to be a pure slot corner.

Did you know that none of the Seahawk player contracts extend beyond 2020? 2020 is the last year of the current collective bargaining agreement.

I expected that would happen but unlike some of the others I suspect that Simone will stay on IR for the season or until his ACL is repaired satisfactorily.

It's being reported that the Hawks have signed a FA OT- Tyrus Thompson a 6th rd. pick in 2015 of the Vikings who has bounced around and never been able to stick.

Thompson was well regarded in the draft but seems to be missing something as he has never stuck anywhere since being draft and has had an unfortunate injury history.

This if true, means the team has now put George Fant on IR.

Will update once I see something from a reputable site. It's a done deal.
