West Antarctic ice sheet. 12 flag stories.

Photo was forwarded to me, and I don't do Facebook/Instagram so not sure of any details.

But it is a pretty cool picture.

I still have that retro 12 flag. My old neighbor once said after me displaying it on gameday..."I didn't know you were into Nascar?"

Every game day that flag flies proudly in my front yard.

12 flags are the coolest:{)

I try to get pictures with mine quite often.

If I'm not mistaken one of the "hawk" sites had a way to upload pix.
I remember seeing may unique/cool photos.

One of my favs was the one in "space"


I drive my wife nuts when we road trip to games, because I always stop at the State Lines for pix.

But my all time #1 is, flying it in opposing stadiums.

The season after Les (The Radish) passed.

He had a seat at the Chargers game in Cali.

Seat #12.

This picture was taken at his seat, in his honor.

It's also one of my Faves.

No pix because it's a federal crime, but in Naval Base Coronado, over the shipping containers that have been turned into a 2-story condo complex of shops and hangouts for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard workers who maintain aircraft carriers, is a 12 flag flying every time I've been there for the last 4 years. I fully expect it'll be there next fall when I head back down for another 3-month TDY. Especially since I didn't see any ropes or anything for raising it, it's permanently mounted on top of the flagpole... It's outlasted the dis-Chargers in San Diego! Obviously the weather is better there since I'm on my second 12 flag on my front porch in that time.

In the possible event that Zealandia is recognised as the 8th continent, (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zealandia#Classification_as_a_continent), you can rest easy knowing it's already covered.
