Have been waiting on the roster moves for this week, and am a bit surprised to not see anything about Kam.

Will update tonight when I get home as I am on the road right nowand it’s too hard to do it by telephone

Hawks are likely holding the Kam roster spot for Shead next week. No need to do it early. Something else might pop up.

A number of sources including Bob Condotta of the Times are reporting that DeShawn Shead has been removed from PUP and is now able to practice. The team has now got 3 weeks to decide to return him to the active 53 man roster or to place him upon IR for the season.

Like Kam the Aboushi to IR move has not been made formally. The precarious cap position is most likely the reason.

This has been a horrible season for injuries, yet the team remains in contention for a playoff spot. This is a credit to the makeup of the team and it’s depth.

I had to get away from the relentless pessimism for a couple of weeks. But, I'm happy to see that this tread has been maintained. I've reflected on the notion that Pete and John have now moved into uncharted territory with regards to the team cap. What they do from here on out should be very interesting and instructive.

The team has waived OT- Justin Senior from IR, he's apparently healthy.

I wonder if this is cap related, or designed to circumvent the IR return rule? Maybe he comes back to the PS if he clears waivers?

That's strange about Coe being cut and Smith being brought back up so soon. Does anyone know if Coe played terrible on his only two snaps of a game last Sunday? Perhaps he did something behind the scenes (e.g., late to a team meeting) that the coaches did not like.

P.S. IIRC ...... OT- Justin Senior was called out for reporting to camp in disappointing condition. Who knows if that means anything in December or not :229031_shrug: just thought it worth recalling that he didn't start with a best effort to prepare for camp.

Rodney Coe processes a uniqueness they like to experiment with from time to time. I suspect that uniqueness has been a fit challenge for Carroll's 4-3. But, that is just speculation on my part.
