They are close imo more then people will remember but depth changed the outcome.

I would have to see the rosters once the players were chosen - which team gets Russ? Which gets Marshawn? Is the secondary divided between the two teams?

Can they run the ball if the game is close at the end...?

2013 based on emotion alone. But 2014 might have been just as gritty. Kevin Williams really played good down the stretch. Hard to beat 2013.

Depends on which one is the home team.

13 words separated the 2014 Hawks from the 2013 Hawks. Without those words, IMO, we probably remember both teams as being equally great.

In the final analysis, the three words that separate the 2013 and 2014 Seahawks teams, are the 2014 team's key words:
"Poop for luck". Jeremy Lane picks off Brady in the end zone and get his forearm broken and ACL destroyed on the return? Cliff Avril gets concussed on another Brady interception play? That is truly poop for luck. Brady has the opposite luck. He benefitted massively from our bad luck. Brady throws picks and his team benefits as a result. Charmed life. This year, KC had the game winning pick against Brady, game over, in the AFCCG. Oh, look, an idiot Chiefs rusher lined up offside on the other side of the play! Brady gets another shot!

The 2014 team was good enough to overcome poop for luck, Russell's 5 picks, several tipped, in that amazing comeback win vs. Green Bay in the NFCCG. I think if they win the Owl, without the poop for luck in SB49, I think we look at that 2014 team as the all-time great Seahawks team, edging out the 2013s.
