Performance enhancing drugs, Dui arrests...........etc.

I am sure it is a real challenge to be a young man and to have such fantastic paydays.
People flock to your side trying to get a peice of the action.
Probably a whole lotta fake people trying to ride the gravy train.
At the same time training, raising families, the media.........

My question is, "Can you play football for the Seattle Seahawks?"

I mean are you really talented?

Because if I break the law I cant get a regular Joe job.

If you are not a superstar on this team and you want to cheat and or be a less than stellar individual I would hope they cut you simple because I am tired of hearing about it.

Just my opinion, but these players deserve more than that. Take each situation case by case as not every mistake will be the same. Besides, what does it really accomplish punishing nobodies on the roster who screw up but not willing to do the same with the veterans? There's a better way to get a message across, me thinks.

Whoa now. Easy on the humor. Doc gets a little uneasy with that stuff.

I like football. I dont like Ruskallian football.

Cut Portis. Thats my opinion. Do something.

If you were a Blazer fan from the Rasheed Wallace era you would get it.

Portis' agent has refuted the story in the Times about Portis being arrested.. he said that he was never arrested, but was ticketed for speeding..

I don't know his agent would say this when arrests are public record.

That being said- second chances are much easier to give when someone has value to your organization because their skills are much harder to replace. I don't like the fact that men on our team are failing drug tests, but have no problem with them sending some packing and keeping others... If the Hawks were to cut these guys that made a mistake, they would not be unemployed long.. guys like Irvin/Browner would both be KC Chiefs in about 4 minutes (both are subject to waivers and KC is #1 on the waiver wire).

Cut Portis for a DUI but leave Lynch alone about it? That is one of the problems with players across the entire NFL, if you are good enough it doesn't seem to matter if you are an absolute jerk off the field. Personally I find some who are getting big money in the NFL sickening, Vick is a good example.
