I already made a thread for Irvin, but man alive was he on it today.

Hill seemed to really play well. He clogged shit up and RB's weren't getting past/to the 2nd level.

Avril was beasting out there.

I noticed Williams seemed to be in the backfield a lot too.

You?

Norwood's dropped catch would have been a topic of discussion, be he let it slip away.

Wilson shoulda thrown that just a tick sooner. Norwood had his man beat.

Maybe not quite unsung because he made a huge play, but it just feels like having Bryon Maxwell back healthy and on the field is allowing the LOB to play with its "we the best DBs in the NFL" swagger again.

Tony Moekai had some nice plays, too. I said last week he needs targets to show what he's got. Looks like he can be an important part of the offense if/when Seattle starts using more multiple tight end sets.

I'm giving that distinction to you, Pe. I really thought you had your A game going today.

Informative, humorous and sometimes offensive. That's the hat trick we expect from you and today you delivered.

Before you awake tomorrow the football fairy will have placed a chocolate game ball on your pillow.

(print this out as proof you were named "Today's unsung hero")

Let me chime in with Bam Kam and Bobby Wagner.

How good to have both of them back. :thirishdrinkers:

Peterson is not nearly as good as you think that he is.

Yet he recovered from getting beat and got his hand on the ball so there was no completion.

As far as the topic goes, Lane had a very good game especially at the line of scrimmage disrupting timing.

I think Sherman is having an outstanding year and if you want to see one of the things that stands out about Sherman over every other elite corner, go to the 2:00 mark of the first quarter. He makes big time tackles that other corners won't even attempt.

Ok, he's not the type that's going to strike fear at opposing special teams, yet he also doesn't make me nervous in that he's going to turn the ball over, i.e. do something stupid by way of trying to make something happen(ala Nate B. and/or Earl T.), and he did have some decent return yards yesterday. I can see why PC and co. like him at that spot.

I have a move for the ladies called the "chocolate game ball".

Sherman is playing like the best DB in the game. And has all year. Don't listen to noise saying otherwise.

DeShawn Shead.....great special teams play. He also showed awareness that the Cards only had 10 players on the field for that punt and took advantage of it. He mentioned this in his post-game interview.

No love for Haushka? He is our leading scorer in the game. Sure he had one blocked but he connected on 4 others. At least he didn't miss wide right on a 47 yarder like the Cards did.

There is absolutely NO doubt that having Wagner back in there improves the defense by an immense margin.
