Day 1

Seahawks

DID NOT PARTICIPATE
Helfet, Cooper....TE....Ankle
Pierre-Louis, Kevin....OLB....Shoulder
Unger, Max....C....Knee/Ankle

LIMITED PARTICIPATION
Burley, Marcus....DB....Hamstring
Carpenter, James....G....Ankle
Dobbs, Demarcus....DE....Knee
Kearse, Jermaine....WR....Ankle
Lane, Jeremy CB....Glute
Lynch, Marshawn....RB....Back

I'm actually surprised to see Lynch practiced even in limited fashion. That sounds like a good sign. Of the three who did not participate, Helfet is the only one with an outside shot at playing this week. Pete said in his press conference yesterday that KPL wouldn't make it back, and seemed to insinuate that there would be a move later in the week. Unger is only on week 2 of a 3-4 week recovery. Helfet is said to be a late week decision, possibly out or perhaps a gametime depending on how he feels Wednesday.

There wasn't a real practice. NFL rules still require an injury report, so this is what would likely have happened had it been a normal practice with a game on Sunday.

You're right, I could have worded that better, but I didn't expect to see Lynch listed as anything other than DNP until possibly Wednesday. just seems odd to list him as limited when he never practices day 1 of any week, and has been missing 2 practices per week in recent weeks.

Maybe Pete doesn't want to get the Niner fans' hopes up

Something like that. You can never trust Lynch's designation as it's somewhat unique.

I'm on my phone so formatting is a pain, but Burley, Carpenter, Dobbs and Kearse all have been upgraded to FP. Treat remain the same

It seems that Helfet most likely will be out for tomorrow's game. It's a good thing they picked up Moeaki. It's just a gut feeling that Moeaki is going to have a really nice game. Better than last Sunday. He was very good then too.

I hope Lane plays. I personally think there's a huge dropoff to Burley.

If Pete had not tried to score that last touchdown and just downed the ball, Helfet would have been playing this week. :34853_doh:

Lynch is a trooper. I saw him on the news yesterday at practice and he was walking like a 90 year man. I know what it is to throw my back out and I can hardy get out of bed, much less do anything physical. I almost wish they were holding him out, or at least will give him light duty unless we absolutely need him.

Lane broke his butt?

Now Lane....this butt ache is spreading like a virus. Didn't Brock Coyle have a butt problem a couple of weeks ago?

Glute problems... the new "oblique" injury.
