Referee for Seahawks at 49ers #thanksgiving @SNFonNBC: Tony Corrente



Corrente refereed last year's AFC Championship Game.

He did our OT game vs the Texans last year.

We got a pretty damn fortunate call in that one late, albeit not called by Corrente himself. But the unnecessary roughness on Houston when Doug got taken down for a tackle was pretty weak.

Corrente was also the one who called a really bogus personal foul last year against SF for Touching the Brees (roughing the passer) down in New Orleans that largely cost the Niners that game.

Hope he's not looking to make amends tomorrow.

Hopefully the crap calls come after we have a 24 point lead. :lol:

Oh hell, hopefully Mr. Corrente is the 49ers' own version of Mike Carey and he just screws them repeatedly. I want a win tomorrow however we can get it.

Yeah, not surprised they're still pissed at him after last year. Especially since roughing the passer is one of the calls the referee himself makes.

Anyway, to me, you basically hope not to get Jeff Triplette, Jerome Boger, or Ron Winter, and beyond that every crew is going to be flawed but passable. This crew could screw up badly, but Corrente and company aren't in that tier of awfulness I just named.
