So ..... Loucheiz Purifoy didn't pass his physical.

on KPL. Said he has a Labrum issue that needs work.

Apparently the guy they claimed from the Colts to replace him didn't pass a physical so we have a roster spot open.

Said we are looking pretty healthy

Gave players off today instead of tomorrow.

On Williams at NT...said he's feeling better about the position....more comfortable. Hopes to continue to find the right rotations to keep everything right.

Wouldn't say what they have planned to fill the roster spot. Said they'd figure it out later today.

Helfet is still recovering and is day to day. Really won't know til the end of the week. Don't expect him to practice early in the week.

Unger. Getting better. Expects him to play perhaps next week.

Lane should be back this week.

Lem played pretty well they hope he'll continue to improve.

Said they need to help out Simon in regards to penalties.

On Moeaki. Everyone felt he could be a help to the team. Said they were pleasantly surprised he's been able to help so quickly and is learning the way we want him to block.

Said the guys handled the process of a short week.

Asked how he'd feel if an owner tweeted that a loss was unacceptable, he said our owner would never do that...then added he wouldn't comment on it.

Lots of talk about how well our front office staff and management work as a team.

on allowing only 1 TD over 10 quarters...says it's because the players have rallied together to play as a unit and have done a great job

on controlling our destiny in the NFC West....says the standard mantra of every week being a championship week, etc.

Says Kelly's system is innovative and that Mark is doing a great job. Says they run it at a fast tempo.

Says Carpenter played well and felt great on Thursday. Should be in great shape.

On how well Sherman is playing. Said it's huge for him to get those opportunities. Said he was kicking himself about missing the one he didn't get.

On Relationship between Sherman and Baldwin...said they are great friends and also very competitive....like brothers.

Said nobody asked about the dining on turkey legs on the logo. Said that it was up to the networks and it meant nothing at all. Said our guys didn't care at all.

That's it for today. I'm assuming we are staying on a regular week as far as these things go so I expect the next to be Wednesday, although there should be news of a signing sometime today or tomorrow to fill that final roster spot.

Like Pe has said in several threads on several occasions, we have a huge advantage over Frisco in the owner's box. This is just further confirmation that is the case.

Looking forward to getting Max back. And Helfelt, dang he had some monster plays vs Cardinals.

Said about KPL, during that stretch he seemed like he was one of the few that was running in attack mode.

Overall, nice to see we came out healthy, and 10 days rest for some of our guys should be good.

Those Philly boys are ultra athletic. This'll be a fun one.
