He's a bottom third backup rb in this league. And yet.. people have stepped on his bangwagon this year. He has semi-succeeded by running against Lynch tested worn-down Ds

I like him as a passing weapon. But that's about all. He's always falling down before he even passes the line of scrimmage.

He does very unsexy things extremely well. Things that this offensive philosophy values.

In his current role he makes this team better, not worse.

I disagree. With even a backup running back we would be better with him in that role rather than Turbin

That's true. But let's not pretend for a damn second that he would be a successful feature back for us.

he's fine as a back up but he's not a feature back. Unless you like losing that is.

He's a good running back and keeps the ball secure. In 201 rushing attempts he has only fumbled twice, has 4.0 averager per rush, 47 receptions for 9.8 yards.

Who would you suggest replaces him? Trent Richardson?

He's also Russell Wilson's best friend on the team.

Not saying that should matter, but it probably does.

Some of our fans think a backup who only gets the ball an average of 5+ times a game should be somehow putting 100 yards down. I dont get it, but I dont think they will ever be happy.

Even lynch had 10 runs that were 2 yards or less this game. It takes a while to break through a defense.

This... Was your takeaway from the game?

To be fair, I think he made this thread in the 1st quarter when Turbin was getting carries ahead of Lynch.

We should definitely promote Michael, the guy that points to the heavens thanking God pre-snap before he gets the ball. I mean, that tactic obviously works since he closed out the game with that 6 yard first down run after doing so.

I really like his hands, intelligence and blocking. Marginal runner.
