There is a scenario, not all that unlikely, (it involves Dallas losing 1 more and Green bay losing to Detroit, among other things) where this game alone could be the difference between a number 1 seed and missing the playoffs.
If green bay wins out, we can safely lose one game and make the dance. But that gb Detroit game is huge. That game takes place before our Stl matchup. If Detroit wins we could face off against the rams with the same number 1 seed or miss the playoffs pressure.
If detroit loses before that game it eliminates that crazy scenario, so that is probably something to root for.
