The guy is hilarious! On the Bob & Groz show, they were laughing throughout.
When talking about Tharold Simon:
"He got one (penalty) last week too! He was killing the boy, I think 88, he was hurtin' him, he put him out of bounds, and he threw him down, he just didn't have to throw him down. But everybodie's like 'Don't throw him down!' And he was like...what he was saying on the field I can't repeat"
Bob (I think) "Give us the clean version! I want to hear it!"
BMax "You can't do a clean version of that, you just can't!" "But you know, I love the fire in him, it's a beautiful thing, it's football."
Quoting doesn't do justice to Byron Maxwell's delivery though. He, Michael Bennett, and Will Tukuafu are my favorite interviews. Guaranteed laughs from all three :lol:
