Seahawks not in playoffs without help.

According to ESPN :

Seattle clinches a playoff spot with:

1) SEA win + PHI loss or tie OR
2) SEA win + DET loss or tie OR
3) SEA win + GB loss or tie OR
4) SEA tie + PHI loss OR
5) SEA tie + DET loss + GB loss OR
6) PHI loss + DAL win or tie

I was under the impression of win and we're in.

It IS win and we are in. GB and DET play each other in week 17...thus one of them will either lose or tie.

Yeah, that list is all technicalities since GB and Detroit play each other next week. Win and we're in.

Win 1 of 2 = playoff spot

Win 2 of 2= division title, #1 or #2 seed

We can't clinch our division this week, if we lost to STL in week 17 and Arizona beat SF they would win the division.

Not quite; if we win this week, lose next week and Cardinals win next week then Cardinals would take the division.

We win out... and we win the division. The way I understand it we get first seed if Dallas loses, or if GB or DET win out.
Considering they play each other in one game and the other is DET vs CHI and GB vs TB I think there is a fair chance of this happening. :0190l:
