How tough is the Seahawks schedule, as a whole?

Someone help. I can't find anything (I'm on my phone) telling me how hard the Seahawks schedule has been in 2014, now that the dust has settled.

I'm not sure how current that is though as the gallery isn't dated.

Now look at the top 8. Did it wind up this way just because the AFC and NFC West drew each other this year? 6 of 8 teams with winning records. 3 of those 8 with at least 11 wins.

It would be interesting to see what the numbers would like if you removed the head to head games.

Here's my thought: Take KC vs Seattle - the total impact on the SOS in the game would seem to favor KC. Meaning when a team plays us and we play them, their SOS gains more than ours potentially. Of the teams on the list, we played all but two.

If you take out the head to head I wonder if we wouldn't be closer to having the toughest schedule in the league as playing the Hawks inevitably has a direct impact on the other team's SOS.

The way they've played through this supposed "gauntlet" the last 5 weeks has been astounding.

Fun to think about but we are peaking at the right time, that's for sure.

The only reason we might not have the most difficult schedule is because we didn't have to play ourselves.

And...winning teams add to the losses of their opponents where losing teams add wins to their opponents.
