"It’s the second time in his career that he’s thrown for at least 300 yards while running for at least 85 more, which Randall Liu of the NFL says makes him the first person in league history to pull off that feat twice.

Wilson has thrown for 3,236 yards this year and run for 842, which adds up to as good a season as a dual threat that any quarterback has ever had."

842? That's got to surpass some running backs surely?

Only 14 running backs in the league have more rushing yards than Wilson going into the final game of the season.

No player with over 10 rushes is averaging more than Wilson - 7.5 yards per run.

only 14 have more rushing TDs than Wilson as well.

Is he still too short?
Is he still just game manager?
Most Media experts would still pick RGIII, CK7, Kirk Cousins, ... etc ahead of Russell Wilson.
And Mel Kiper still believes, Seattle had a bad draft, when they picked Bobby, Russell, Lane, Bruce Irvin, JR and Kearse 3 years ago.

They made a comment during the game Sunday that he would be the leading rusher on something like 18 teams.

Happy to be able to root for and not against this guy. I think they will eventually have to stop trying to compare him to other QBs as he is breaking the mold. If he continues to progress as a pocket passer and at beating the blitz, this guy will be legendary.

Now if we could just talk him out of doing any more American Family Insurance commercials...

Ummm....no part of your post is accurate.

No, most people in the media would not pick any of the qbs you listed over wilson. There may be a FEW, but way less than 20% of the media would pick any of those qbs combined, with most of those people going for Kaep. Every qb you listed has been crucified in the media. Wilson is merely underappreciated.

Also, Mel Kiper already admitted he was wrong about the seahawks draft and that they did a fantastic job overall. He's admitted it, so I don't know where you get th3 idea that he still thinks it was a bad draft. Is he an idiot? Yes. Is his opinion valuable? Not really. But did he admit he was wrong? Yes he did. He went back and re-graded their draft as an A.

So how does Kiper re-grading the draft as an A turn into you saying he STILL thinks it was a bad draft.

Seahawks fans don't need to go around making stuff up just to get themselves worked up. We get to root for the best team in the nfl and the beautiful thing is that no matter how much the media underappreciates us they have no control over the awesome football that is being played.
