Whomever was the one to think of Karl for the flag raising deserves a bonus. Too many times we 12's have to applause because it's expected, not because we are truly fired up for the person representing. Today, we were fired up. Good call and keep it up!

The right emotional appeal in flag-raisers has to be part of the strategy, but either way, a very cool choice.

My two favorite things about this game...

1. We finished strong. Once again, a second half shutout against a team that has come out strong in the first half for several games this year; we did what we needed to do in order to finish strong.

2. Guys we've hoped would step up, did. Irvin, Richardson, Hill, Turbin... love that kind of effort!

Coach Karl was pretty awesome. He's right up there with Pete, Holmgren, and Sweet Lou as responsible for the most prosperous periods of Seattle sports history.

Has Lou ever raised the flag? That would be epic!

He would likely snap into a fit of blind rage and begin throwing things from the platform into the field fooled by kicking stuff at the referees.

Yup good choice.

A lot of favorite things about this game, how can you pick two? :)

My Two:

1) Earl Thomas breaking up the TD - so indicative of who he is, and that right there earn him the cred to be a leader and talk to our boys and smack a bag of sunflower seeds to the ground. And you see it showing up with everyone trying to make a play for their fellow teammate

2) PRich high point catch 50/50 catch - nice to see this emerging, almost in line with the momentum of the team itself and a sign that the baseline of the offensive play is building. We are throwing a variety of stuff now with slants, downfield, and the screens instead of just the Percy playbook
