Watched the game again tonight in anticipation for the NFC Championship game, and man, what a different game this will be.

That day was balmy, warm, and with clear skies and no precipitation. 71 degrees. A perfect day for football. The Championship game is going to be a perfect day for Seahawks football--drizzling, wet, windy, cold--all the things that go well with running the ball and coughing it up for turnovers.

The Packers' first 10 points were due to some very lucky bounces and penalties. Their first touchdown was scored on a very short field after an Earl Thomas muffed punt return. Yes, Earl Thomas was returning punts in that game. The field goal after that was scored after a 44-yard pass interference call against Bobby Wagner, defending a receiver way, way down the field.

The Seahawks offense looked completely different than it will in the Championship game. Percy Harvin was quite productive in that game--one of the best he had in a Seahawks uniform, and was a huge, integral part of the offense. One fly sweep after another the whole game. Big kickoff returns. Caught the ball down field for a long gain. Zack Miller played a key role in the offense too, catching some key long balls, and he's not suiting up this time around either.

The Packers did have a good drive, but really only one, and it lead to a touchdown. Other than that, our defense did a stellar job against them. Marshawn Lynch had just over a hundred yards, and Turbin ran well too. Wilson had only one designed quarterback run in the game, but overall, our run game was pretty dominant.

Interesting seeing how different this game was from what the NFC Championship will be. And it'll be interesting to see if our offense is as proficient and prolific against the Packers this time around with a totally different scheme.
