Yep, my thoughts exactly. To be honest, Peyton Manning behaved the same way with John Fox and Adam Gase. He regularly permitted those conservative clowns to sabotage a perfectly good game with pussy-footed or inexplicable play calling.

All Wilson had to do was call a timeout and huddle up with the principals -- "Hey guys -- why are we calling a dangerous pass over the middle when I can just hand off to Marshawn 3 or 4 times?"

Elite QB's need to to overrule clueless Offensive Coordinators like Bevell.

Russell made a throw in a good spot on the play that was called. You don't check into a run in that situation. Bevell should have called a read option there. If not on that play then eventually we would get in. It sucked as a call but we have to live with it. Definitely not on Wilson there.

Bevell never learns. This isn't the first time he's cost us a game by trying to get cute. And for that, this is inexcusable.

Saying Wilson should have totally changed the play is wishful thinking. Especially for a 3rd year QB. It's just looking anywhere to try and rewrite what happened.

Lockette couldn't have been stronger on the pass cause the defender actually beat him to the spot. And that was due to him recognizing our standard pass play to get the jump.

Lockette is also an undrafted free agent that they rarely use because he just isn't that good. On a play like that you don't put the game on his shoulders. He called the play, it was the wrong call to the wrong player. He is a POS trying to blame the receiver.
