QB
Starting: Russell Wilson
QB2: BJ Daniels
I think overall we will move on from TJack. I could see us bringing him in for Training Camp to see if he was still a clear step up from Daniels, but if it were close I see them saving the money.
RB
Starting: Marshawn Lynch
RB2: Draft
RB3: Robert Turbin
RB4: Christine Michael
I think there is a 75% chance Lynch is with the team next year. I know there is a question of whether or not he will extend, but he still on contract for next year and he doesn't strike me as the type to leave 7mil+ on the table. That being said, I know he is the very definition of unpredictable, so who really knows. Whether or not he stays I think we spend some sort of draft capital on a RB, and even though I like Turbin I could see the new guy above Turbin on the depth chart if he was talented enough and could block as well as Tom Cable wanted him to block. Unless Christine Michael takes a big step up I see him ending his Seahawks career a bust(not that thats what I am hoping for).
FB
Starting: Will Tukuafu
As much as I like Coleman, and his incredible back story, I like the flexibility Tukuafu brings. We don't have to dedicate a roster spot to a dedicated FB, as he spells time on the DLine as well. FB is a dying position on the NFL, even on the Seahawks. While people have pointing out Coleman presents a better receiving target out of the backfield, I think we have to ask ourselves how often they really use the FB to do that, vs how often they ask them to block, and I believe Tukuafu has much better lead blocking skills than Coleman. And I think the FB-pass route plays are more based on surprise vs having a fullback that can run routes well.
WR
WR1: Doug Baldwin
WR2: Jermaine Kearse/Draft/FA
WR3: Kevin Norwood
WR4: Paul Richardson
WR5: Draft/Chris Matthews
Next year I think Doug Baldwin will still be the #1 WR on our roster. I am not sure what to think of Kearse, I do think they like rewarding their own guys, but he just seems so run-of-the mill sometimes and with how tight $$ will be this season, I don't know if they can afford to put a 2-3 million dollar tender on him vs. the salary of someone drafted in the 2nd or even 1st if they chose to go that way. Or save the money and put it towards a better WR from the FA market. I think Paul Richardson does end up higher on the depth chart, but without knowing the timeline for the recovery from his injury its hard to know how he starts the season, if he does at all. Although Chris Matthews will forever be remembered for his superbowl heroics... I don't know if that translates to him being on the team next year. He seems to be well-liked and has stuck around all year to compete for his opportunities, so I am leaning towards him being on the team as a depth WR. I see the team moving on from Ricardo Lockette instead of putting a tender on him.
TE
Starting: Zach Miller
TE2: Luke Willson
TE3: Cooper Helfet
Contrary to many people, I do not see the Hawks addressing the TE position in either the draft or free agency. For those of you saying we can trade Miller's salary for that of a receiving TE, this is a team who chose to pay Miller 11 MILLION DOLLARS during a year that had a strong TE class in free agency and he would not have gotten any where near that on the open market. Obviously they value his ability to be basically another Tackle very highly. I think Willson has been progressing nicely and hopefully will overcome his drops tendency as Kearse did. I also think Cooper Helfet has been in the system long enough and shows enough promise to make the 53 next year.
O-Line
LT: Russell Okung
LG: James Carpenter (if $ is right)
C: Lemuel Jeanpierre
RG: J.R. Sweezy
RT: Justin Britt
Backup - Patrick Lewis
Backup - Alvin Bailey/LG if Carp isn't re-signed
Backup - Garry Gilliam
Backup - Draft
Backup - Nate Isles
Ultimately we aren't paying Okung THAT much as a starting quality LT. Health is the only major thing, so I could understand either way if they release him or keep him. Overall I see him staying in Seattle though. I think we move on from Max Unger as he is approaching THAT UNSPEAKABLE AGE that the seahawks front office seem to hate, and he has degraded health wise in recent years. I have seen enough promise from JeanPierre to feel comfortable in him starting, saving us 3.5+mil on Ungers contract.I am not a huge fan of Carp but I could see them paying him as well if the price was right, and no better options existed in free agency or draft. I see Sweezy getting an extension, and Britt remaining the starting RT.
