I know quite a few people are upset by all the attrition this coaching staff has experienced since the Super Bowl. Yeah, it's hard to lose good coaches in Quinn, Norton, and Manuel. At the same time though this is exactly what Pete Carroll wants ... and really it's what's best for the Seahawks in the end. That's why Pete can ATTRACT the best coaches in the first place. Those guys know that eventually that it's going to pay off for them in the end in terms of better opportunities for them. Bottom line people: this is the price of success people. To get the best coaches ... you have to know you'll eventually lose the best coaches.

Turn the page -- next chapter. I have little doubt that by the time the Seahawks roll in to mini camps that they will have landed 2 or 3 more young, bright, hotshot, up and coming coaching minds to replace those guys. If you don't think there are prospective coaches out there lined up around the block, champing at the bit at the prospect of coaching on this staff, you're kidding yourself.

The Seahawks have been prepared for this day for a long time. It's not just players that Carroll, Schneider and company have their omnipresent ever watchful eyes on. They know who's out there in terms of blue chip coaching talent and have long been searching under every single conceivable rock to locate it, to make those contacts, and establish those relationships. Relax people.
