Confirming it and taking the time to deny it are two different things.

Also, notice how he is backtracking from "deal in place" to "offer on table that will result in deal." We already know there are big offers on the table.

I won't have a "tizzy fit". It's the risk you take, but I think the team is much better off when our players are getting the most money they can. I usually root for the players in these things, and lose respect for the ones who take less than they can get.

I won't have a "tizzy fit". It's the risk you take, but I think the team is much better off when our players are getting the most money they can. I usually root for the players in these things, and lose respect for the ones who take less than they can get.

Not me, I root for the team as a whole. If I thought he was willing to get what ever he could, knowing it could hurt the team overall, I would want him gone.
