According to his twitter.

Probably a 1 yr minimum deal for far less than the RFA tender would have been.

Good for him and the Seahawks for trying to see this through.

He didn't show much last season. I'd be surprised if he makes the team.

IIRC, he some some flashes when healthy. Can he stay that way? Time will tell, I guess. For now, though, we have a serviceable DL for camp anyway.

I had high hopes once, but no longer. Just another flash in the pan, I fear.

He's just a body at this point, but he knows the system and is a good locker room guy. Hopefully he can help the Hawks out, but ultimately I think it is safe to say he probably wont have a huge impact. At the very least the Hawks are giving him a shot, maybe he makes the most of it.

I like Scruggs as a person, so I am rooting for him.

Too injury prone...not durable. Great story, but I don't think he'll last past training camp.

at minimum he is decent enough to be in depth. average run stopper and below average pass rusher I would put him as last man out so there is a decent chance for him.

I think they still have a "rule of 51" right? I suspect Scruggs doesn't even count against the cap until after the season starts, if he makes the cut.

With his signing and other cuts, I am guessing we now have an accurate view of what Hawk doctors think of the injuries on these players.

Doesn't excite me. Sorry.

Yes, he started this thread solely to excite you.

Thanks, HP, that made me laugh. No apology necessary, "UGotHawks". I'm just a humble servant of the people.

Did you mean this in a cynical or non-cynical way? I kind of read it as the former (as in their determinations were biased), but wasn't sure if that's what you meant.
