"Need to know: things line up well for Gonzaga to make a return to the elite 8 for the first time since 1999. The NFL Free Agency window has now closed and by all accounts the Hawks graded out well, by trading and not spending big money. The Mariners continue to impress, the middle of the order thumps two three-run homers. Paxton is the difference maker and is the guy who has to make a leap this year. "

"John Clayton talks about Marcus Mariota's comments that he doesn't care when he's picked in the NFL Draft and the negative reaction from some NFL teams. The tournament has been terrific so far. No 12's won this year, but plenty of upsets. In "Sweeping the Dial" the guys discuss a Terry Blount report that the Seahawks and Russell Wilson are close on a deal, Mike Zunino should raise his average this season, and Bruce Pearl thinks Gonzaga can beat Kentucky."

Will have to listen later. Thanks for posting.

Seems sad that Marcus could be honest and get slammed for it. He has no control over where he's drafted, so why should he care? He just wants to compete and play. That should be a good thing.

I'm sure he DOES care where he is drafted, but if he says that, the media will blast him for that too. He's in a no-win situation with the media and saying he doesn't care will net him far less criticism than if he were to be honest and say "I really don't want to go to Cleveland".

It was in Blue 42 segment so towards the last few minutes. It wasn't much. Not even an interview just a single quote they must have pulled from a previous interview.

The guys quickly acknowledge Gonzaga's impressive weekend in the tournament, before turning to football. John Schneider speaks about Russell Wilson and roster construction. We have a funeral or 'remembrance of life' as Jim calls it for the San Francisco 49ers. Jim sees a twitch in the casket. Should the NFL tweak some rules on extra points or other plays?

I can't stand and always have. He doesn't care about winning in the first half and is horriible at adjusting. There's a very good reason why every time he's interviewed for a head coaching position, they NEVER call him back.

They had it ready, but they decided not to run it.
