Special feeling about this year's draft.

After looking at the picks, I'm getting the same feeling I got after the 2012 draft. I know it's way too early to tell, but I think will look back at this draft in a couple years and consider it one of the best Seahawk drafts of all time.

It took me a night to get over the "trade up" but after watching all of Lockett's highlights I feel better about it. Really excited about big Glow.

Side note- I remember watching Auburn vs K state last year and looked up info on Lockett to see if he was related to our Lockette,,,,obviously not, lol

I have been analyzing and dissecting al lot of Seahawk drafts through the years and I really cannot remember a draft where the management felt so good about the outcome. When you hear John and Pete talk about the players you can't help but be excited.

Hugh "Mr all QB's must be 6' 5"+ to be any good" Millen and his "conventional wisdom" BS irritate me as well.

The more negative reaction by a lot of posters to many of our early picks actually has me pretty confident.

That and allowing last years class to develop and not expecting immediate results.

If he does, it's because Hugh knows his stuff. JS wouldn't be threatened by somebody who doesn't.
