Yup, you guessed it, they select our SEAHAWKS as the BEST draft this year (considering Jimmy Grahm as part of our draft).

Wonder what that means whn the pundits select us as the best? Usually they think we screwed up???

Sounds good anyway, and I do have to agree with em

It seems when the Seahawks made their picks the pundits were against them, saying we took them too high.

Then when they have some time to figure out the Seahawks strategy, they seem to say we did pretty well.

Considering we added 3 lineman, 1 receiver and two DEs, plus a project Cornerback, it does look pretty damn good. We tackled every weakness. It does make sense why we went the direction we did.

They know better then to criticize JS/PC. They have in the past and have been made to look foolish.

Yup, I agree, we did a great job addressing needs.

Typically, Pete and John will reach a little bit to get the guys they really want. We've had this discussion on the board quite a bit.....if it's the guy you really want, and you're confident he'll work in your system then it's really not a reach to make sure you get him, even a round early.

Also, draft guys will analyze a guy and assign a grade. Usually, GM's have different ideas and that's where the difference lies. There were a lot of guys with a ton of upside in this draft, and had off field issues. It's fairly subjective how big those issues are.

Clearly the best draft weve had in two years. Love the Tye Smith pick this kid looks like he could be very very good some day Kiper liked that pick a lot. Lockett is a stone cold lock as an immediate impact player and is the best WR weve taken in the draft since Tate . Clark looks like the DE I always hoped they would pick a prototypical DE with very good SPARQ numbers length and power that can play on any down.

The show I saw had a bracket set up.
It came down to us and the Jets.

They picks the Jets over the Seahawks.

We could have selected 10 kickers last weekend and most "experts" would have drank the Kool-Aid just because of how much crow the front office has served them over the years.

This is 100 percent correct. McShay's comment was "the Seahawks had the best draft because three years from now the Seahawks will have had the best draft no matter how it looks now." The pundits are tired of the Hawks making them look foolish with their assessments.
