Preseason injury question from last year

Last year during preseason we had a DB that played in our first preseason game against the Broncos. I believe that player was injured during this game. Before his injury he was looking really good to me (especially away from the ball / camera as I could watch this since I was at the game). For the life of me I can't remember this individual's name. Does anybody remember who I am talking about? I remember him being tall and his ball skills reminded me of a young Sherman (though I am not trying to compare him to Sherman). I really wanted to hear his name pop up again this year as I think he could compete for the other side besides the fact that we signed a few DBs this year. Any help would be appreciated!
