ESPN NFL insider Mike Sando joins the show to discuss how Ryan Tannehill's deal affects the Wilson contract negotiations. The Mariners have traded Yoervis "Funky Cold" Medina to the Cubs for Wellington Castillo, a backup catcher. Mariners Insider Shannon Drayer comes on the show to give her take. Cliff Avril talked about leaving the Super Bowl early with a concussion, and says it was the right thing to do. More reaction to the Medina-Castillo trade, which Salk is not a fan of. A new edition of "Blue 42".

John Clayton reacts to Ryan Tannehill's six-year, $95 million contract extension with Miami, and talks about how it could impact Russell Wilson's talks with Seattle. We give Jim a segment to talk about Chambers Bay, but it turns into a segment insulting golfer Ian Poulter who isn't a big fan of the course. In "Sweeping the Dial" the talk about Connor Halliday's retirement, Justin Smith also retires and the Marlins GM is now the new manager of the team.

The Mariners finished a good home stand after a split with the Red Sox, but Tom is still not convinced that this team can keep rolling. Pete Carroll disputed the way that Bruce Irvin's comments about Atlanta were construed. Is this valid or is Carroll grasping at straws? Patriots owner Robert Kraft continues to make him self look ridiculous in the aftermath of the Tom Brady DeflateGate suspension

Said it before and I'll say it again, a healthy Cliff Avril is more important to me than a Superbowl ring.

Robert Kraft is a douche. His true personality is beginning to show, he's a rich, powerful bully. I wonder how many "little people" he has destroyed over the course of his career.

The only thing that bothers me about the Avril concussion was that Edelman was obviously concussed or at least had "symptoms" yet there was no evidence the Patriots even gave him a test on the sidelines.

Evidently Kraft listened to his PR guy, because now the Pats are accepting the punishment. I agree with ya though....coming out and saying you'll accept whatever punishment the league levies, then acting like you're going to fight it comes off rather douche-ish.
