Wait, so does he have a shot to make the team and contribute this season?

Incredible. This seems incredibly soon for having just gone through his operations and treatment for cancer. I'm rooting for the guy regardless of whether he will ever get healthy enough to play in the NFL.

The announcement said he was able to work out which I suspect is a bit different from actually playing football. However, at the stage of the season without pads it is sort of like just working out. Regardless this is good news for him. I wish Jesse nothing but the best and hope he's quickly beaten beaten this after it was caught early.

When the Hawks didn't put him on the NFI list I knew there was a chance he'd be at TC. Hoping he makes a quick and full recovery. It would be a great story if he can make the roster this season.
