But if you are looking for a lesser-known rookie who stood out Friday, how about undrafted rookie Tyrell Adams? Adams, who played at West Georgia, made one of the better plays of the day, recognizing, then blowing up a screen pass, nearly intercepting the throw, earning some enthusiastic praise from first-teamers on the sideline.

I didn't know much about Adams before practice, but he flashed a few times. First, he read a screen pass to Thomas Rawls and blew it up. Later, he broke up another pass play in zone coverage. He looks like he has good instincts, and is on my early list of ones to watch.

LB Tyrell Adams: The 6-foot-2, 228-pounder is a rookie out of West Georgia. After being named to the All-Gulf-South first team as a junior in 2013, the Atlanta native was named to the 2014 USA College Football All-American first team after leading the Wolves with 92 total tackles his senior season. Adams also racked up 6.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and eight pass breakups.
