I've been here since back in the 90's so mine was probably regarding Galloway or someone like that. I still have my .Net "Got Galloway" shirt around somewhere.

My first post was a bait and switch that ultimately led to a severe finger wagging and helpful link to the forum rules by one of the mods.

Not a great example.

Mine was a few months prior to the 2013 game in Houston.

I was online looking for 12s in Houston to hook up with for the game.
Google directed me here.
A good time was had in Houston, I met some folks that I'll call friends till the day I die.
My life has not been the same ever since.

Mine was about my son-in-law and grandson attending the the 2005 'Hawks v. AZ as guests of Bryce Fisher (by way of Gilda's Club.)

My grandson was 3yrs old at time. What a fun experience for him...not did only get to yell as loud as he could, he could eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor! They also were invited to the after-game buffet, run by the player's wives. He got to shake hands with both Bryce and Lofa.

...and the rest is history.

Mine was about how I thought Holmgren was gutting a good team. That Kitna would have worked had Holmie not screwed his head up. That Holmgren lost us Galloway. That Ahman Green was a great RB and that if we hadn't hired Holmgren, this team was on the cusp of being a playoff team and being pretty good.

And I was right. Green went on to lead the league in rushing for Green Bay, Galloway might be HOF material, Kitna, despite being dumped on the Bungals and Detroit, turned out to be a decent QB, if not great. And we didn't sniff the playoffs for several years longer than we would have if not for Holmgren.

I think I was trying to instigate more flaming between Fudd and Killian.

Now there's a couple of names that tickle my memory banks.

I'm not sure, but it was probably something about not really caring for the format (cascading posts) after having to come here when the .com boards closed down. Took me a while to adjust and then thankfully this became a normal type of forum.
