The Seahawks are expecting to have several players back for next week’s game, including
Richard Sherman, Tharold Simon, Will Blackmon and Marcus Burley, but there’s a good chance Thomas might not play in the preseason—Carroll has said multiple times that the regular-season opener is the goal—and Chancellor’s status remains up in the air. So for now Seattle’s secondary depth continues to be tested, which might make for some interesting lineups in the short-term, but the positive is that that depth is getting a chance to play and gain valuable experience.
