This isn't taking into consideration who we could sign on PS, I think many will be picked up.

Red is cut could be signed to PS or traded last minute.

I will bet you that Mohammed Seisay ends up on IR after the two injuries.
the second the same as the first but looked more serious.

After this game I'm way too confused to make a realistic 53 man roster prediction. There were a lot of players I previously didn't give much of a shot at the roster playing ridiculously well. Good luck to Pete and John on this one. They're going to need it.

I still think there is zero chance Michael is cut but overall nice list and I appreciate the effort.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. Also, Jackson is on a fully guaranteed contract, so it makes no sense to cut him. Coleman will very likely not be cut. I think it would be a mistake to cut Will Blackmon, but there is a lot of competition at that spot.

It doesn't sound like Carroll wants to cut Mike Morgan, despite a legitimate hamstring tear, so we will have to wait and see on that. I would like to see us move on from him. On the other hand, Rod Smith is very unlikely to make the roster; he is a practice squad candidate all the way.

Ryan Murphy has barely practiced and has little to no chance of making the roster, more than likely practice squad. Sokoli, Tukuafu, and Adams are all unlikely to make the roster. Jesse Williams I think will be cut. McGill is a 50-50 proposition.

We cut Antoine Winfield a couple of years ago on a guaranteed contract, so that's not a reason to Track in.

But I can think of two legit reasons.

1. He's a better QB than Daniels.
2. He's a locker room leader.

Only $1 million of Winfield's $3 million contract was guaranteed; hence, they saved $2 million by releasing the 36 year old, who then retired.

Guaranteed money is absolutely a consideration, particularly when you would save zero money by releasing someone. If they felt totally confident in B.J. Daniels, who has not been in the QB room and hasn't practiced much at QB, then they would just add Jackson to the PUP list as insurance. That way he is not taking up a roster spot and you are not losing any money.

Jackson cannot go on PUP, has to be IR. He has already practiced/played in pre-season

Good point, and it doesn't seem worthwhile to use the one and only return designation on him. Looks like three QBs will make the roster: Wilson, Jackson, and Daniels.

Have to disagree on Coleman over Tukuafu. I think Coleman has a higher upside and, considering the depth on the DL coupled with the Turbin injury, it makes more sense to keep Coleman. Neither Rawls or Smith will make it although I expect to see Rawls on the PS.

I don't expect Rawls, Smith, or Williams to make it to the PS, someone will pick them up, Oakland for one, Dallas another and Carolina yet another.

I saw this on twitter. If Seisay is released for injury, the Seahawks will not have to give Detroit that conditional 6th rounder. If he clears waivers, he revers to IR because he was injured. So that is a workaround way to get him on IR and basically keep him in the organization for free.

Not sure how accurate that is, but interesting.

I think Coleman stays over Tukuafu. I know the Seahawks are still really high on him and Tukuafu was in the game a lot last night in the 4th Quarter.

Ha this is awesome

I mean feel bad for the kid getting hurt, but this keeps our pick and him on the team (cause no one will claim him off waivers)

I think you have to keep TJack. Guaranteed money or not. Here's why:

One, he's still probably a much better quarterback than Daniels. There's a little more to QB than running read-option all over Oakland's scrubs. That being said, Daniels would be a nice emergency QB3 solution.

Two, if BJ is your primary backup, you can't use him as anything else. You can't risk your QB2 getting injured on punt coverage and then have your QB1 go down later. That would sort of defeat the purpose of his versatility. It only makes sense to have him do other things if he's just your emergency third option.

Plus, Carroll has repeatedly reiterated that TJack would be "ready" for Week One. Seems to suggest that decision has already been made.

Good points as usual. Going forward, I would like to see Daniels developed more at QB, so that he can focus his energies almost entirely on that position. That's where his ceiling is highest, and he will be on an RFA contract next year, which would save at least a million dollars on a veteran backup QB.

I would cut TJack and keep Archer as #2 and Daniels as #3 QB and as a WR.
