It's amazing that your local media has zero sources to announce the cuts, it's either one of 2 things. They bend to the request of the Seahawks and don't report them until the team says ok or the Seahawks front office is really strong and leaks nothing. Either way fans patiently waiting. I'm a Niner fanatic an it's like a flowing river of leaks, sources & flat out made up stories. Always a wild ride.

The Hawks have until 4:00 PM EDT to actually release them. It's possible they haven't released but a handful so far.

Our front office has proven to be pretty airtight under Carroll and Schneider. Typically, the big moves take us by surprise.

They are still trying to do deals and get Kam in. What's the hurry?

Was hoping Jesse Williams would make it. Had a good preseason but sounds like they have released him.

They better not keep lockette of williams.. What has lockette shown as a WR? Nothing.. Actually he's shown he doesnt fight for the bacl and can be easily removed from a play with a lottle bump.. Williams has been a much more talented receiver in a shorter time than lockette... I hope he males it to the PS...

Otherwise this will remain a headscratcher for me.

Don't underestimate chemistry with Russ. For all we know, Russell would prefer them to keep Lockette since he is comfortable throwing to him. I'm not saying that's the case, but it's something to consider.

I have him at 50-50. He has been playing SLB and has been awesome on special teams . . . so this depends in part on Mike Morgan's status with his partially torn hamstring.

Huge mistake? I would have liked to see him get a shot but it isn't like he was Odell Beckham.
