Pinkins will be signed to the 53 man roster at some point this year. LB's get injured, but let's hope it's only backups.

Pinkins, Smith, and Coleman are great additions. Hopefully, we can land Kasen as well. Shame we left Martin and McGill exposed.

For those that don' t know a lot about Coleman (to include myself):

Strengths Plays an aggressive brand of football. Physical in press coverage. Saw more action in slot in 2014 to take advantage of tackling. Defeats block and launches into ball carrier with proper timing. Contain-oriented on the perimeter against run. Instinctive and comfortable in zone. Recognizes combinations and makes proper adjustments. Good ball skills -- 10 passes defensed and 4 interceptions in 2014. Played outside contain on kickoff coverage.

Also had top five marks in the combine (by position) for bench press, 3 cone drill (top score), and the 20 and 60 yard shuttles.

Fans always over-value players on their own teams - especially fringe players. In hockey it is the backup goalie phenomenon, everyone loves the backup.

What are the odds on Rod Smith getting on the PS? Rawls was better, and different, but Smith was a bruiser and seemed to have a decent pre-season. Might be good insurance with two older backs a the top of the depth chart. I am sure one of the 10 will be a RB.
