I used to be, aviation sub-contractor, Husky Oil, Chevron, Shell, etc, etc. high adventure that. But even in the 90s there was internet in the major sites, and now it's everywhere, even in tent camps. Early on there were Single Sideband to Phone patch, and in the 70s phones were everywhere. I miss "the smell of oil in the morning"
