Ugh... Man, I hate being slung around emotionally like that Rams game... Jacked, Bummed, Jacked, Bummed, Jacked!!! Buuuummmmed... CRAP! Suddenly, I'm really not looking forward to the Green Bay game. I was dreading it before I witnessed our performance in the opener. I had it penciled in as a loss the second the schedule was released. And yes, they are gonna be out for blood after what we did to 'em last time we met. At least Jordy ain't there... That's gotta hurt. And their D didn't look like anything special in their opener, so who knows? I'm sure Pete and Co. are busy working out the kinks as we speak. Let's hope we flip-flop what I was expecting and lose to the Rams, but beat the Pack... Oh MAN that would piss 'em off, huh? 8) *fingers crossed!*

And Dion... Practice your footwork man...

GO SEAHAWKS!!!

Bob Mcginn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is a highly respected veteran writer. Not buddy buddy with the guys at Lambeau because he asks the hard hitting questions and isn't afraid to call a spade a spade with regard to the Packers' team. Each week he talks to NFL scouts and does an in-depth write-up on the opposing team. Here is his assessment of the Seahawks, this weeks opponent, based on conversations with anonymous NFL scouts:

This game will tell a lot about this years team. A lot of distractions revolving around this team. From Kam, Bevell being criticized, Pete Carroll might be losing the locker room (players still think about calls he makes--don't kid yourself), Marshawn might be upset and not saying it verbally (his mom does though) to a new DC, and offensive line woes.

Still only the second game of the year, but this can be a make it or break it game. It most definitely is an absolute must win game.

Im not thinking this is must win. Of course I could be mistaken, but I think this is a team with a lot of resolve with 15 weeks left . On the other hand, I am so tired of reading other fans forums and seeing "Seahags" " Seagals" etc.

It seems like other teams fans really hate the Seattle Seahawks.

^^^ No doubt. I was in vegas this past weekend. Definitely saw the 12s representing. Packer fans too. As I am watching the game, the whole bar was rooting against us, especially packer fans. Packer fan TSA agent told me since I was a seahawks fan I had to go to the back of the line. This team's fans are very salty right now.

You know, Dallas used to thrive on all these side shows.... I think Seattle will be a team on a mission later in the season when it gets focused....

You may not like opposing fans calling your team that but, it could be worse. You could be a Packer fan coming on Seattle's board and hearing your team called "Puker's" and "Fudge-Packers". Or your quarterback called "Erin"... There's DB fans on every forum.... It is what it is...

Wazzup Hawks.net!

Looking forward to this game Sun. and getting the taste of the NFCC outta my teeth.
Had a blast last season with the Smack Shack and was invited to return before this one. It's about time we got your team in our house for a change. Hopefully 1st of two this season.......
Really think the Hawks are going to have a big day on the ground. We will get one of our potheads back to try and slow down Mr. Lynch. Could've used Guion but he is still takin his medicine for getting pinched with a mountain of bud and cash.
Too bad we are both missing key players as I was hoping to do this full strength and see what happens.

With both teams missing LB, I am guessing a shootout which should favor Aaron, but we can't stop the run. Our D is weak as crap there. It will be interesting to see how our rookie LB Jake Ryan does. I see big things coming from him down the road. Just not a good team for his intro to the NFL.

Keep your head on a swivel RW, I think Matthews is pissed he ran out of gas the last few minutes of the NFCC game and will be "motivated".......I still can't believe we lost that game after whippin' that ass for 55 min. or so. That's why they play them though.

Good luck Sunday nite. I think this will be a really good game and can't wait to raise an overpriced beer at Lambeau at the end of it.

GO PACK GO!!!

Well, on the other hand. We could look at alternative which is indifference. At least other fans KNOW we have a great team and HAVE a reason to hate us. Green Bay has taken some heartbreaking last second losses in Seattle.

So much for the "Injury Free" game........geez.
I did spend a TON of time chatting with Hawk fans. Great guys (and one very friendly gal too:)
I think our fans needed that win more than yours did. Alot are still tweaked about the NFCC. At least now if we meet again this year, it will be at our house. It is just as hard to win here as it is at CL Field.
Wanted to pass along a thank you from Aaron for the couple 12 banners we saw. He thought that it was real nice of them but the color was a lil off.
Good luck this season and hoping to see you all again in Jan.
