Kris Richard: Is it time to talk?

Secondary looks like they don't know how to cover or play a zone anymore.

We destroy Bevell on a daily basis but at what time is time to talk about Richard or losing Ken Norton Jr.? This defense does NOT look the same. At all.

Way too much confusion and standing around.

Thats Richard, but ultimately its Pete's D.

Pete is not cutting it this season. At all.

Carry Williams is a big down grade from Byron Maxwell, Chancellor's holdout has effected his on the field play, and Clark should be starting over Irvin when Irvin is lined up as a DE. But, yes lets play some more man-press coverage I freaking hate our DB's playing in off coverage.

Been saying it all along. maxwell was so good in seattle. And WTF is up with sherman? cant cover for shit i think he gave up about 4 big passes today.

They need to start doing something ASAP. seasons not over yet but there is a BIG BIG problem

All of these are why I see coaching being a huge issue right now. They are not sharp. Are they slower? Nope. Weaker? Nope. They are out of position or miscommunicating and that is prep and coaching. Huge fail this year.

i dont know anynore. kris richards so called defense is different from last year etc... by the time this team figures out or even if they figure out whats going on it will be week 17. the way were playing now were going to finish 9-7 or 10-6. i wont be surprised if we finish 8-8. the bottom line is we cant finish games. whoever's fault that is they better fix it and fast. riddle me this. how do you go from rapid defense the last few years to a laughing stock defense in one year. we play real good for 3 quarters and then as soon as the 4th quarter starts were a different team.

The only people safe are avril, Graham, ryan, hauschka. Put everybody else in a room and break them down to the little overpaid bitches they are.

I think this should be on the Offence. Too many 3 & outs left the D gassed.

It falls on Pete and his loyalty to former USC alums. Ken norton jr. Should have gotten the seahawks d cord job.

Ken Norton, Jr. was the biggest loss this off-season.

I agree. I always wanted Norton Jr to be the coordinator. I knew the Seahawks lost a key crucial piece when he left. If you listen to precious mic'ed up sessions Norton Jr was the edge in our defense. He brought the attitude and it fueled our defense mentally.

It's not the same.

Name the main "guy" on the defense right now. There is no leadership really. I think that Quinn and Norton had the ears of the guys and so did Kam. Kam's holout may have really hurt the team dynamic more than we know. Earl played his ass off today and Avril and Irvin played well. But Sherm has vanished both on the field AND off! There is no swagger, no fire, and no intangible "it" factor to carry them. They continue to play flat and emotionless when it counts. It seems to be heart. Thats what sucks the most.
