Interesting comments from Carroll today about improving the offensive consistency.

Carroll says we need to do a much better job in the red zone, that we are even worse in the red zone right now than we were last season without Jimmy Graham.

Also, when asked how we can improve the run game, his answer was "you have to stay with it."

I remember very similar comments from Carroll last season when we started 3-3, with three losses in which Marshawn ran the ball fewer than 20 times in each game, including just six carries against San Diego and ten carries against Dallas. Carroll's words then were about getting "back on track" with our offensive philosophy of staying with the running game.

Git er done, coach.

If anyone can fix it, it'll be this team. They've done it before so the chances are they can do it again. They are only 1 game behind where they were at this point last year. This year they have had a much tougher schedule than they did last year after 6 games. At some point, having 2 straight seasons where their offseason has been short has to take a toll. Especially for a team that plays physical brand of football like the Seahawks.
