Our D will be fine in the second half of the season. The Eagles are making McFadden and Cassel look legit.

Yes they are good. Which ones again stresses that the losses falls mainly on the offense

It's a team game. Both culpable in the losses and praiseworthy in the wins

Yes! Once again, lets blame the Offense for Greg Olsen being wide open in the end zone against Carolina for the loss or a DB falling down vs the Rams! Our defense is very good but they have had some letdowns, anyone who didn't think our offensive line would struggle has not paid attention to the Seahawks since Pete got here.

Of course the defense has missed on plays.

Those plays should not be enough to determine games. Being out there for as long as they were was the root cause

Our offense failing to convert a 3rd down over and over again is a bigger issue than two individual plays.

In the St Louis game our DEFENSE put up 7 points by taking a fumble / int and scoring on it. So offset those 7 with the 7 they allowed and that is a net zero and we still lost the game because of the offense

I think that Dallas has improved with Matt Cassell getting more time as starting QB too. Making comparisons from one week to the next is a tough thing to do.

Our defense is definitely good, and they are just now coming together, much like the offensive line.

The Defense didn't just "miss on plays", they missed on critical, game losing plays.
If you remember correctly, Kam was absent for awhile, Sherman had to be moved away from his usual area of expertise, and I think that the re-alignment of the Defensive Secondary from last Season has left the Seahawks vulnerable to miscommunications, thus, blowing the leads, and ending in losses.
Just go back to the games last Year, where the Seahawks Vaunted Defense was dominating and closing the games out, and compare them to THIS Season (actually starting in the SB 49 game), and how they seem to have unraveled and let our leads slip away.
The Seahawks Defense is only NOW starting to get back some of that swagger, just like the OP has suggested.
