Theyre never filled in during the soccer season. To much to remove and repaint each week. They wait for the sounders to be over before they paint them each year.

They are unpainted until the Sounders finish their season.

Looks way better painted.

Sounders fans were whining last month when they had a game Sunday night and our logo was already in place for the MNF game. They said it was 'embarrassing', and looked 'garish' and 'awful'. Because, you know, that hot pink goal net is sooooo aesthetically pleasing.

800 million and they don't have to complain anymore, although they would have to deal with the City Council to build one.

. Net has many traditions. Ripping on the Sounders when the end zones are painted blue is one of them.

Love it, I was down there yesterday, and they were finishing up the end zones.

Nope. Their practice facility is Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. They play some early round U.S. Open Cup games at Starfire, but all MLS league games at Century Link.

Now that the end zones look different to the rest of the field, I wonder if our guys can find them...
