It means calling him out for horrendous overall play rather than make excuses for him by citing meaningless stats like his completion percentage or by blaming the offensive line for everything short of the common cold.

I was kidding mostly. I think if it had happened to a QB in New York, this butt fumble would be on an endless reel on ESPN like they did with Mark Sanchez. I am glad the media likes Russell.
