Just curious if anyone else feels Burley should be starting opposite Sherm? I think we can all agree that Williams is a major liability and from what I've seen of Burley the last 2 years he would be a major upgrade.

They could at least give it a try against the 49ers. I'm not sure if he would be a huge upgrade but I doubt he'd be a big downgrade either.

Lane would be even better but burley would also be nice. Anything is better than cary right now .

Burley is too small to play outside. Once Lane is added I can see experimenting with Shead in Cary's role and Lane/Burley working the slot.

Lane can play outside and did in 2012 when Browner was suspended. He played very well.

I agree. Would like to see Lane. Wonder if he'd be up to it though, coming off that horrible injury.
